This work is part of the second series dedicated to the city of Madrid, currently on display at the Avani Hotel in Madrid. Cities are timeless in some aspects, yet constantly changing. So many details escape us, and its always worthwhile to return to discover new things. This winged sculpture is located on the Post Office building in the popular Plaza de Cibeles. This square, now the seat of the City Council and free to enter, is a treasure trove always waiting to be explored, where wonders like this one can be found. The piece is made with diverse materials, including colored acetate sewn onto the sculpture and a strip of wood with traces of paint from other works. All assembled, it creates a puzzle to be unraveled and enjoyed.
