Artist Statement
At the heart of my artistic practice lies the transformation of stone. Its physical heaviness is transformed into a formal language that makes lightness, vibration, and movement tangible. The sculpture is not a representation of reality, but a form that moves us; ideally, it defines the space around it. Through a focused, meditative approach, I create minimalist forms characterized by clear structure and a quiet presence. Convex and concave lines generate a rhythm that strips the stone block of its mass. Thus, the works navigate the tension between mass and fragility, distance and intimacy, opening up a space for contemplative perception and sensory experience.

Your sculpture captures your theme – ‘The Material and the Vibration’ – with impressive clarity. You elicit movement from a decidedly static medium: the natural grain of the black marble reads like frequency lines moving along the winding S-curve, transforming mass into rhythm. Compositionally, the vertical swing and measured constrictions create a visual impulse that the eye follows upwards, while the grounded base stabilises the energy. Conceptually, the work maintains a tension between abstract flow and a subliminal figural presence, inviting the viewer to feel vibrations rather than just see forms.
